The English Debating Competition at Maktab comprises three sub-competitions in the Junior, Middle, and Senior Schools. Usually, the Middle and Senior School competition consists of a proper debate with opening and closing remarks, as well as a question-and-answer session. However, because of being online for part of the academic term, this year, it was decided to simplify it to a speech competition. Sir Asim Lodhi, a faculty member of the English department at MAO College was the honourable judge for the event.
